About us

In 2021, after facing drastic and serious life changes, our lives changed completely. Our home-based 'Artisans Obsessions' Business was created with products already being used at home, allowing us to share with others the simplicity and diversity of ways to care for ourselves and others, daily. 

As you can imagine, being unable to bring in some income affected our family. To make matters worse, at the same time, my father-in-law started to quickly deteriorate, which forced my husband
to fully focus on taking care of him and not be able to work outside the home. With time, my father-in-law went to be with the Lord.

 On the other hand,  I slowly started to improve, finally being able to do the simple things on my own, unsupervised, was a big accomplishment! The things we take for granted!!!!

By the way, all of this was also during COVID-19...

So that's how and when ARTISANS OBSESSIONS came to life!

I have always been creative and determined. One day, while having bad muscle spasms in my neck and shoulder, my son was warming up a heat pack my mom had made from an old sock-- I thought to myself, "Wow, this helps immensely," BUT I thought if I added some essential oils for relaxation to soothe and calm the pain even faster???? Of course- if you know me, you know how I LOVE my essential oils!! And I started to make more Oil Blends.

 Quickly enough, I started making other things, like dips, salad dressings, and even baking... You name it! I was making it!!!  

I decided to offer my products to family and friends, and even though they knew we were going through a tough time, they lovingly supported us by sharing our business. Pretty soon, their family and friends were hearing about us and our story, and they were also coming across my products and started to order for themselves or as gifts.

What our family went through was difficult for all of us, but it certainly affected our youngest the most.

Fast forward to 2023, another "event" happened... this landed me in the hospital for a week! 

At this point, I was devastated. I was relying on my husband to cover most of our family's financial needs. So, I was more determined than ever to grow my business!

All your support is greatly appreciated. If you take anything from my story, share it with others, hoping that we encourage those going through a similar situation. My hope, gratitude, and trust are in Christ- and he has most certainly taken care of us every step of the way.
